CEO Weekly Update

things have been busy here at RAI headquarters where today we have submitted an applciation to the FAS Labour Market and Education Training Fund to apply for a grant to set up a Professional Cookery Apprenticeship Scheme. Many thanks to all members for there support in this application and we will keep you up to date on the outcome of our applciation.
Another issue that we are hoping to highlight in the coming weeks, its that of Local Authority rates and Charges. Rates are having a detrimental effect on our industry. We will be doing so by launching a public campaign later this month. Our industry is facing particular hardship at this time, due to the inequitable reporting of rates, and the current economic turmoil.
